Our Positive Approach

We believe that by providing a social platform to enable collaboration, celebrate acts of kindness and goodness, and promote positivity in our communities, we can make a difference.

Far too often, we're bombarded with news of hatred, violence, and wrongdoing, making it difficult to see the goodness that exists all around us. GoodDeeds.space is here to change that by highlighting the inherent kindness in every human being.

We strive to help everyone practice the essential skills of gratitude and empathy. We believe good deeds accumulated from an early age will provide a strong foundation for building strong values, including social and emotional learning, and will serve as lifelong references to help build trust with future peers, colleagues, and employers.

Ultimately, GoodDeeds.space aims to nudge people to continually become a better version of themselves.

FAQs

The purpose of a Kudos is to recognize someone for their act of kindness, help, awesomeness, or any good deed. You can also copy others. The person receiving the Kudos would know it is from you. Kudos are public. If given to another group member within the group context then they are visible to other group members only. Group kudos can optionally be shared with everyone on the platform. Once given kudos cannot be edited or deleted.
The purpose of sending a Message to someone is to connect and collaborate one-on-one, provide constructive feedback, etc. We believe feedback is a gift and if given with the best intentions it can help others grow and become even more great! The person receiving the Message would know it is from you. Messages are always private between the sender and receiver. Once given messages cannot be edited or deleted.
The purpose of a Story is to share more about you with others. This can be anything like a recent experience, self-help tip(s), something to inspire others, etc. Stories are public. If written within the group context then Stories are visible to other group members only. Stories can optionally be shared with everyone on the platform.
Trust Scores have values between 100 and 500. Trust scores tell others how awesome you are. A higher score means they trust you more to be a kind, helpful and dependable individual. You can also provide Trust Scores to others. Your identity would never be revealed to the receiver whom you assign a score. The receiver sees only an aggregated trust score if at least 5 different senders provide them a trust score.
Once you select a Group name from either under "My Groups" (or from "Groups->Manage Groups") you are in that group's context, which means you can access the Group's message board, send Kudos and write Stories that can be limited to be viewed by that Group members only. You also will have access to the Group's resources. Note that you can exit the Group context, by either selecting a different group name from either under "My Groups" (or from "Groups->Manage Groups") or go back to GoodDeeds.space default context by clicking on the GoodDeeds.space logo on the upper left corner of the header.
The platform is completely free for individual users, including for groups creation. If you require large amount of resource usage please use the Contact Us form. For subscription for your organization please submit your request here.

Testimonials

As an educational service provider to young adults, it is essential for us to create a safe space where our instructors can give feedback to the students on their progress while being their cheerleader. With GoodDeeds.space, we have not only achieved a positive feedback cycle but created an environment where students can also give kudos to each other and feel well supported by their peers. I would highly recommend institutions who are looking to create a safe and private space that will allow them to build trusting relationship amongst their teams to consider implementing GoodDeeds .space customized solutions. Rohit has been a visionary in designing this platform and himself someone who stands by in the power of positivity.

GoodDeeds.space is a breath of fresh air for the social media space! In this world of AI, conspiracy theories and bullying on social media, GoodDeeds.space is the antidote. Nothing but good hearted, factual, real life, well intended positive feedback and genuine support based on Gratitude that you don't see anywhere else. Gratitude has fallen out of the English language. Time to rediscover it! Such a wonderfully comforting, safe space shared with like minded individuals and consistently monitored to keep the negative out! If you are burned out on the social media scene, do your self a favor and check it out! You will not be disappointed!

What I appreciate about GoodDeeds.space is that, when we enroll and participate in the app, we are demonstrating the power of rewards to increase positive social interaction, or in more common language, “kindness.” Bullies change not by punishment, but by being complimented and noticed when they help others, when they help those who are smaller or weaker. The building blocks are all here in this program: A. Establish a community of persons who care what each other thinks about the members. B. Teach them how to take note of each other’s charitable acts. C. Record those acts so that everyone in the group may see, thus rewarding behaviors that all of us what like to see increase. I can hardly wait to see what will happen when a whole community is affected by this kind of “good deed.”
